Benromach 15 year old single malt scotch
This scotch is no longer available and has been replaced by Benromach 18 year old single malt scotch. I will have to get some of that and try it.
Benromach distillery has been around since 1898. However it has changes hands multiple times and has been idle for long period of time. In 1993 Gordon and MacPhail bought the mothballed site. The first product was sold in 1998 and it has been going strong ever since.
They have a complete line of products that they produce. This product and its replacement are and mixture of casks that are married for at least 6 months.
Color: Pale amber
Nose: Dry floral undertones.
Palate: Dry
Body: Light
Finish: Long and pleasant
Opinion: Good scotch but need to try the 18 year old to be sure
