I'm not alone in loving Scotch. For the year 2007 Scotch exports were up 14% to a value of $5.6 Billion. Scotch volumes sold were up 8% to 1.135 Billion bottles. The U.S. is the biggest market in value and France is the biggest market in volume. And it is only rising.

Ladybank Whisky School.
Three days of hands on earning at the distillery when it is closed to other visitors. A group of between 8-12 people in the class with 3-4 instructors. The first day focuses on mastering the two different types of malted barley and the fermentation process. Day two you learn the distilling process and help produce a new-make whisky. On day three you will focus on selection and preparation of casks. It should be a very enjoyable and educational three days.
